Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery can be transformative and life-changing.

Physical restoration or enhancement is a personal journey, and it should be guided by a team that is both experienced and safe.  Our American Board of Plastic Surgery certified surgeons have the expertise to accompany you on this path.

In a world filled with social media projections of beauty, it is easy to be distracted from what really matters: you.  With a combined 30 years of experience in this field, we internalize your goals and devises a plan that brings you to the best version of yourself, from head to toe.

During your consultation, our team takes time to understand your concerns, then formulate a management plan that is centered on you.

Your safety is our utmost concern, so we will present the safest options for you to achieve your desired results.  There are no obligations at the time of consultation, as this is primarily an educational experience for you. However, should you desire moving forward with a procedure, we are able to get the process started that day.

During Surgery Teamwork

Safe surgery is key.

While nobody can guarantee a procedure free from risks, we take all measures to put the odds in your favor.  If necessary, our pre-operative Internist will ensure that you are optimized to undergo the planned procedure.  Once cleared for surgery, we will meet you at our Joint Commission (JACHO) approved surgical suite at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.  You will also meet with our board-certified anesthesia team and nurses, who will help alleviate any pre-procedure anxiety. Despite being a high volume center, we are still able to provide individualized attention to ensure your experience is of the highest quality.

Depending on the nature of your procedure, you might be able to leave the same day.  For the few patients that require an overnight stay, rest assured that the quality care and attention also extends to our overnight suites and inpatient beds.

Meet Dr. Morrison and Dr. Nugent currently affiliated with New York Medical College as associate professors in Plastic Surgery.

Known for his kind demeanor and excellent bedside manner, you will be in good hands under his care.

Dr. Nugent

Dr. Nugent has recently relocated from Miami to join Dr. Morrison.  While there, he was an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami.  Holding double board certifications in Plastic Surgery (ABPS) as well as Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery (ABOto), he has honed skills that have allowed him to treat complex problems and aesthetic concerns all over the body.

After Surgery Care

The period after surgery can be just as important as the surgery itself, as such, we are very involved with your post-operative care.

This involves routine follow-ups in either one of our two offices, along with access to the hospital where we have admitting privileges. Depending on the nature of your procedure, most patients are able to resume activities within a few days or weeks, while their body continues the healing process for several months.  Our team remains involved in your care during this period, and we are happy to accommodate un-scheduled check-ups if needed.
